Applied Kinesiology

This is actually both an assessment and a therapy in that we can look for weakness in muscles associated with organs or glands in order to find dysfunction, then stimulate or relax those muscles to resolve the problem.

Applied kinesiology may help correct impaired posture, gait, or joints, restore normal nerve function, re-establish internal organ function, and other healing benefits (Chopra, 48).

With kinesiology, one of the doctors manipulates muscles in the body to detect weakness which may indicate problems in the body. We then use a variety of techniques, such as deep massage, acupressure, acupuncture, or realignment via structural manipulation, to correct any noted imbalances.
